Delivery, Body, Frame and Parts
Some of you have asked for more pics of everything so here they are. Some pics of the delivery and close ups of the body, frame and parts. Lot’s of parts.
All in there were 25 additional boxes full of parts and that’s not all of them. There are a few parts back-ordered and a few things that drop ship from the manufacture, like the wheels. Plus there was an odd mixup at the factory and I have to send a few back but Factory Five is taking care of it. The odd thing is that I ordered the Independent Rear Suspension (IRS) and while the frame came with IRS configured they sent a box of parts for a 3-link solid rear end. So those have to go back and they need to send me the proper parts. Other than that it’s mostly all here. Well except for the engine and transmission. Those are still to be delivered but that won’t stop me from getting started. Now that the parts are all inventoried and sorted the next step is removing the body and placing it on the body buck. Enjoy the pics.
What is the procedure if replacement parts are needed? Perhaps a part was not correctly manufactured or needs repair?
From what I can tell with my interaction with Factory Five and what others have said on the Factory Five forums, they’re really good dealing with any part problems etc. My conversation with them regarding these problems were handled in about 10 minutes, no fuss. And I already have the shipping labels to return the parts.
This is like watching reality TV or Jerry Springer, just with more teeth.
Not even out of the truck yet and having issues? Not a problem…all good from here! 🙂

From the look on Destinee’s face, you’d think you were building it for her. ;-). I know she liked your bimmer.
The Neighbors must be wondering, What is Randy Up to….
The new guy moves in and we start seeing BIG WHITE trucks showing up.
Then the guy neighbors find out what you’re up to and start hoovering around envious…
Pretty cool look forward to the assembly…
Actually a lot of neighbors have put their house up for sale. Coincidence? I hope so? 😉
